The basic terms for using the Mandarin Reading, Collection, Practice, and extension tools.

Use of the Product
In The Wild helps learners read Mandarin, save useful words, and practice from real context. You are responsible for the text you submit, save, or import into your account and for using the product lawfully.
Accounts
Account features require a valid email sign-in. Keep your account access private and contact support if you believe your account has been compromised.
Saved Content And Source Context
When you mine vocabulary or save Reading progress, you authorize In The Wild to store and process the saved text, dictionary data, source URL, page title, source sentence, Collection membership, and related learning state so the product can sync Collection and Practice. If Help In The Wild improve is on in Settings, saved source sentences and mined vocabulary context may also be used to improve dictionary and parser quality.
Chrome Extension
The Chrome extension is the capture layer for Mandarin lookup and vocabulary mining. Do not use it to collect information you do not have the right to use, bypass access controls, or submit sensitive third-party information that is not needed for your Mandarin study.
Content
Public Library Readings are provided for learning. Translations, pinyin, dictionary results, and parser output are learning aids and may be improved over time.
Early Beta And Paid Plans
In The Wild is currently an early beta product. Features, content coverage, parser behavior, extension behavior, analytics, and account workflows may change. Paid plan terms must be added before billing or subscription features launch.
Privacy And Deletion
Privacy rights, data categories, Chrome extension data use, and deletion requests are described in the Privacy Policy. Contact support@mandarinthewild.com for account, deletion, or privacy requests. Signed-in users can also delete their account and linked learning data from Settings.
Availability And Termination
We may suspend access or remove content when needed to protect users, comply with law, fix product issues, or enforce these terms. You may stop using the product at any time and request deletion of account data.
No Warranties
The product is provided as-is for language learning. We do not guarantee that every translation, pronunciation, parser result, review schedule, or source context will be complete or error-free.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the product moves from early public beta toward paid plans, larger content coverage, a formal business entity, and broader legal requirements.
